Conditions of marriage for a foreigner from an Egyptian woman
Many believe that the authorized person is the person entrusted with concluding the marriage contract between the foreign husband and the Egyptian wife, and this is a common mistake, as it is entrusted with the notary of the real estate registry of the Egyptian Ministry of Justice.
But in order for the marriage contract to be concluded between the Egyptian foreigner, the law set some conditions, and the law also required the completion of some papers to document their marriage contract:-

First: the conditions
1- The husband and wife must be at least 18 years old.
2- The spouses should be Muslims, Christians or Jews, and if the husband is Muslim, his wife may be Christian or Jewish.

Second: Required documents
A – The Egyptian wife
1- A valid national ID card for the Egyptian wife
2- Divorce certificate if she is divorced / death certificate if she is a widow
3- A health certificate
4-5 photos

b- A foreign spouse
1- A valid passport and residence permit
2- Health certificate
3-5 photos
4- The presence of a certificate from the embassy to which the nationality of the wife belongs (in which the husband’s complete data is recorded in addition to religion, marital status, income, profession and source of income).

Unlike the aforementioned papers, two sane adult witnesses must be brought, otherwise the age difference between the spouses is 25 years.
